Mike Verzaleno - Leading Family-Owned Industrial Packaging Company
Based in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, Mike Verzaleno is president of Kearny Steel Container, a family-owned industrial packing company with a history spanning three generations. He oversees all day-to-day operations, including product pricing negotiations and ordering, sales, and new employee training. Mike Verzaleno oversees more than 200 employees at Kearny.
Under the direction of Mike Verzaleno, Kearny rebottles 275 and 330-gallon IBC containers and recycles industrial packaging from food, industrial chemical, and waste companies. It also carries composite, steel, plastic, and fiber drums in a range of sizes and stores new industrial packaging at its 250,000-square-foot warehouse in Secaucus.
Mike Verzaleno is a member of the Reusable Industrial Packaging Association and holds a bachelor of arts in business management from Bloomfield College. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time, and is a three-time club champion at Glen Ridge Country Club. His other interests include offshore saltwater fishing for tuna and marlin, running on the beach, and hiking with his family.
